Paper shuffled nearby, rendering itself as an itch on the back of his neck. Pencils scratched and ink leaked like royal blood from his pen. She digs deeper and he screams in her mouth as he spills dark liquid across her lap.

On the page, rainbows refracted light and pot of gold was the wrong answer altogether.

Two seats away from him, a pretty girl with chocolate skin and melting, liquid eyes smiled at him, then stuck out her tongue. Gun to his forehead and the pressure of grey steel blurs his sight of her, producing rainbows and leprechauns as he feels warm wetness inside his ear.

"The examination has ended. Please leave your question papers on the desk and return your firearms to the table at the front of the room. You may take a 15 minute recess."
